NIGERIA NATURAL MEDICINE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (ESTABLISHMENT) ACT, 2019.
Section 31: Duty of secrecy.
1 A member of the Board, Director-General or any other officer of the Agency shall:
a not, for his personal gain, make use of any information which has come to his knowledge in the exercise of this power or is obtained by him in the ordinary course of his duty as a member of the Board, Director-General or officer of the Agency;
b treat as confidential any information which has come to his knowledge in the exercise of his power or is obtained by him in the discharge of his duties under this Act; and (c) not disclose any information referred to under paragraph
(b) of this subsection, except when required to do so by a court or in such other circumstances as may be prescribed by the Board.
2 A person who contravenes the provisions of subsection (l), commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of at least N100,000 or imprisonment not exceeding two years or both.
