Section 5: Removal of member and cessation of membership

(1) A member of the Commission may only be removed from that office by the President for inability to discharge the functions of his office (whether arising from infirmity of mind or body or any other cause) or for misconduct or for dereliction of duty.
(2) The chairman and other members of the Commission, shall cease to hold office if the President declares a national census report to be unreliable and the report is rejected in accordance with the provisions of section 27 of this Act.
