Section 32: Right to appeal against involuntary admission.

(1) The person with a mental health condition or his legal representative may appeal to the Committee against a decision for involuntary admission or a decision to extend the period of involuntary admission.
(2) Appeals against a decision for involuntary admission or a decision to extend the period of involuntary admission shall receive an expedited hearing and the Committee shall give its decision on the appeal within three days of the filing of the appeal.
