Section 23: Protection of persons with mental health conditions.

Any health professional or person in the employment of a facility who strikes, ill- treats or neglects any person with a mental health condition or violates or neglects any rule or regulation made under this Act in relation to the treatment or care of persons with mental health conditions commits an offence.
