Section 21: Right to confidentiality.

(1) All information concerning a person with mental health condition, including information relating to his or her health status, treatment and stay in a health facility is confidential as provided for in the National Health Act. [Act No. 8, 2014]
(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, nothing shall preclude health professionals from taking reasonable steps to prevent the likelihood of serious harm to the person with mental health conditions or to others.
