Section 35: Removal of names from the register.

(1) Where, the Institute-
(a) sends by registered post, e-mail or other recognised means of communication to any person, a letter addressed to him at the address on the register of personnel enquiring whether the registered particulars relating to him are correct and the Institute receives no reply to the letter within a period of six months from the date of posting or sending it,
(b)
considers it necessary upon the expiration of that period of six months, sends, in the like manner to the person in question, a second similar letter and receives no reply within three months from the date of posting or sending it,
(c) is satisfied that a member has been convicted for any criminal offence involving fraud or dishonesty, and
(d) dismissed a member for professional misconduct, the Institute may, remove the name and particulars of that person from the register.
(2) The Board may direct the Institute to restore to the register any name or particulars removed from the register under subsection (1).
