Section 35: Restriction on the grant of licences under the Electricity Act.

Notwithstanding any of the provisions of the Electricity Act, no licence shall, on or after the vesting date, be granted under the provisions of the said Act to any person or a State Government agency other than the Authority unless notice of the particulars of the application for such licence has been given to the Authority and except with the prior approval of the Minister.
