Section 14: Director of Research.

(1) A Director appointed as head of a Technical Department under section 13 shall-
(a) cease to hold office as a Director when he has held that office for period of eight years; and
(b) be designated as Research Director where he has not attained the mandatory age of retirement.
(2) A Director of Research shall perform such functions as may be assigned to him by the Director-General.
