Section 22: Obstruction of the Commission or authorized officers.

A person who willfully obstructs the officers of the Ministry, the Commission, the Agency or any authorized officer in the exercise of the powers conferred on the Ministry, the Commission, or the Agency by this Act commits an offence and is liable on conviction-(a) in the case of an individual, to imprisonment for a term not less than 2 years and not exceeding 3 years; and
(b)
in the case of a financial institution or other body corporate, to a fine of N1,000,000.
