Section 21: Penalty for false information.

If a person seeking or receiving legal aid or advice in furnishing any information required under or pursuant to this Act, knowingly or recklessly makes any statement which is false in a material particular, he commits an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine of -N-50,000.00 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
