Section 1: The enforcement of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea in Nigeria
As from the commencement of this Act, the provisions of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974, as amended, as set out in the Schedule to this Act, respectively shall, subject as thereunder provided, have the force of law in Nigeria, be given full recognition and effect and be applied by all authorities and persons exercising legislative, executive and judicial powers in Nigeria.
Section 2: Citation
This Act may be cited as the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea.
