Section 20: Interpretation

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires-
"Council" means the Council established as the governing body of the Institute under section 2 of this Act;
''fees'' includes annual subscriptions;
"Institute" means the Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria established under section 1 of this Act;
"member" means a fellow, associate member, professional member, ordinary member, honorary fellow or member of the Institute;
''Minister'' means the Minister charged with responsibility for matters relating to health;
"Panel" has the meaning assigned thereto by section 11 of this Act;
"President" and ''Vice- President'' mean respectively the office holders under those names in the Institute;
"register" means the register maintained in pursuance of section 6 of this Act;
"Tribunal" has the meaning assigned thereto by section 11 of this Act.
