Section 8: Power to enter business premises and obtain information, etc.

For the purpose of carrying out any of his functions under this Act the Director or any inspector authorised by him in writing-(a) shall have a right of access at all times to any building where an undertaking is being carried on; and
(b) shall be entitled to require from the directors or other officers of the undertaking such information and explanation as may be required for the performance of any duty conferred under this Act.
