Section 13: Forfeiture of raw gold without an apparent owner

Any raw gold found without an apparent owner may be seized by any police officer, or officer of the Ministry responsible for mines and shall as soon as possible be taken before the court, which, if satisfied that the owner cannot be found, shall declare it to be forfeited to the Government.
