Section 26: Transfer of land to the University.

1 For the purpose of the Land Use Act, which provides for the compulsory acquisition of land for public purposes, any purpose of the University shall be the same as that of the Federation.

2 Where an estate or interest in land is acquired by the Government under this section, the Government may, by a certificate under the hand and seal of the person so authorised or any other person authorised in that behalf, transfer it to the University.
