Section 24: Retirement age of academic staff.

1 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Pensions Reform Act, the compulsory retirement age of an academic staff of the University is 70 years and non academic staff is 65 years.

2 A law or rule requiring a person to retire from the public service after serving for 35 years or 60 years, whichever comes first, shall not apply to an academic staff of the University.
