Section 2: Constitution and principal officers of the University.

1 The University shall consist of -
a a Chancellor;
b a Pro-Chancellor and a Council;
c a Vice-Chancellor and a Senate;
d Congregation;
e Convocation;
f the campuses and colleges of the University;
g the colleges, institutes and other teaching and research units of the University;
[First Schedule ]
h the persons holding the offices constituted by the First Schedule to this Act other than those mentioned in paragraphs (a) to (c);
i all graduates and undergraduates of the University; and
[First Schedule]
j all other persons who are members of the University in accordance with provisions made by statute in that behalf.

2 The First Schedule to this Act shall have effect with respect to the principal officers of the University.

3 Subject to section 5 of this Act, provision shall be made by statute with respect to the constitution of the Council, the Senate, Congregation and Convocation.
