Section 20: Powers of the Council to decide meaning of laws.

(1) In the event of any doubt or dispute arising at any time as to the meaning of any provision of this Act, the matter may be referred to the Council who shall take such advice and make such decision as it deems fit.
(2) The decision of the Council on any matter referred to it under this section shall be binding upon the authorities, staff and students of the College.
(3) The provisions of this section shall apply in relation to any doubt or dispute as to whether any matter is for the purposes of this Act, academic or a non-academic matter as they apply and accordingly the references under subsection (2) to any question as to the meaning of any question as to whether any matter is for the said purposes an academic or a non-academic matter.
