ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT ACT
Section 29: Referral by Council
Where at any time the Council is of the opinion that-(a) a project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects that may not be mitigable; or
(b)
public concerns respecting the environmental effects of the project warrant it,
the Council may, after consultation with the Agency, refer the project to mediation or a review panel in accordance with section 35 of this Act.
