Section 130: Establishment and composition of the Governing Board of the Agency.

(1) There is established for the Agency a Governing Board (in this Act referred to as "the Board") which shall be constituted and exercise the powers and perform the functions stipulated under section 134 of this Act.
(2) The Board shall consist of seven members as follows-
(a) six members appointed to represent fie six geopolitical zones of Nigeria out of which one shall be designated as a part-time Chairman, two others designated as Non-Executive Directors while the other three shall serve as Executive Directors; and
(b) the Managing Director and chief executive officer of the Agency.
(3) The Managing Director and the Executive Directors of the Agency appointed under the provisions of dais Act shall possess the qualifications, experience and competence stipulated under section 136 and 141 of this Act while the part-time Chairman of the Board and the Non-Executive Directors of the Board shall be highly respected persons with relevant experience and distinguished career in public service and private sector.
(4) All members of the Board shall be appointed by the President on the recommendation of the Minister.
