Section 93: False declarations.

Any person who, in any declaration required to be made under this Act, makes any statement which he knows to be false or does not have reasonable grounds to believe to be true commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand Naira or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
