Section 5: Annual estimates, accounts and audit

(1) The Board shall cause to be prepared and submit to the Minister not later than the 31st October of the year in which this Act comes into force, (so however that the Minister may, if he considers it necessary, extend the period) and of each subsequent year, an estimate of its income and expenditure for the next succeeding year.
(2)
The Board shall keep proper accounts in respect of each year and proper records in relation to those accounts and shall cause the accounts to be audited within six months after the end of each financial year to which the accounts relate by a firm of auditors appointed from the list and in accordance with the guidelines supplied by the Auditor-General for the Federation.
