Section 30: Manipulation of ATM/POS Terminals (As amended by section 7 of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2024)

1 A person who manipulates an ATM machine or Point of Sales terminals or any other payment technology means with the intention to defraud commits an offence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term of 5 years or =N5,000,000.00 fine or both.

2 An employee of a financial institution found to have connived with another person or group of persons to perpetrate fraud using an ATM or any other payment technology means, commits an offence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term of 7 years without an option of fine.
