Section 1: Establishment of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria

(1) There is established a body to be known as the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (in this Act referred to as "the Council") which shall be a body corporate under that name.
(2) The Council shall have perpetual succession and a common seal which shall be kept in such custody as the Council may from time to time authorize.
(3) The Council may sue and be sued in its corporate name and may hold, acquire and dispose of any property, movable or immovable.
