Section 34: Punishment for evasion of service.

A person required to sign a receipt on the back of the duplicate summons to the effect that he has received the summons who refuses to do so may be arrested by the person serving the summons and shall be guilty of an offence and upon conviction be liable to one month imprisonment or five thousand naira option of fine.
