Section 17: Provision of library facilities

The Institute shall –(a) provide and maintain a library comprising of books and publications for the advancement of knowledge of statistics, and such other books and publications as the Council may think necessary for that purpose; and
(b) encourage research into statistics and allied subjects to the extent that the Council may consider necessary.
