Section 8: Resignation and filling of vacancy.

(1) A member of the Board may, by notice in writing to the President of the lnstitute, resign his membership of the Board.
(2) Whenever there is a vacancy in the membership of the Board, a person representing the same interest as the member whose exit created the vacancy shall be elected or appointed, as the case may be, to fill such vacancy.
(3) The provisions of the First Schedule to this Act shall have effect with respect to the meetings of the Board and the Institute. (First Schedule.)
