Section 8: Wilfully Making False Statement
A person who wilfully makes false statement, whether oral or documentary, in any judicial proceeding under this Act or with the aim of initiating investigation or criminal proceedings under this Act against another person commits an offence under this Act and is liable on conviction to a fine of N200,000 or a term of imprisonment not exceeding 12 months.
