Section 15: Removal of certain members of Council

(1) If it appears to the Council that a member of the Council (other than the Pro-Chancellor or the Vice-Chancellor) should be removed from office on the ground of mis-conduct or inability to perform the functions of his office or employment, the Council shall make a recommendation to that effect through the Minister to the President and if the President, after making such enquiries (if any) as may be considered appropriate, approves the recommendation it may direct the removal of the person in question from office.
(2) It shall be the duty of the Minister to use his best endeavours to cause a copy of the instrument embodying a direction under subsection (1) of this section to be served as soon as reasonably practicable on the person to whom it relates.
