Section 1: Preliminary

(1) Where a trade dispute exists or is apprehended, the provisions of this Part of this Act shall apply in relation to the dispute.
(2) In this Part, unless the context otherwise requires-
"the dispute" means the trade dispute in question; and
"party" means a party to the dispute.
