Section 38: Power to refuse refugee application.

The Minister of Internal Affairs may, having regard to the interests of national security and public safety, refuse the application of any person applying for status as a refugee, if he has reasonable grounds to believe that the applicant has committed a terrorist act or is involved in the commission of a terrorist act.
