Section 32: Power to compound offences.

(1) Subject to the provision of section 174 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, the Fund may compound any offence punishable under this Act by accepting such sums of money as it deems fit, not exceeding the amount of maximum fine to which that person would have been liable if he had been convicted of the offence.

(2) Any money to be paid under subsection (1), shall be paid into the General Reserve Fund.
