Section 13: Appointment of Statistician-General and other staff of the Bureau

(1) There shall be a Statistician-General who shall be appointed by the President on the recommendation of the Minister responsible for National Planning commission;
(2) To be eligible for appointment to the office of Statistician-General, the person shall have the requisite qualification and proven managerial ability.
