Section 20: Place and duration of records.

(1) The accounting records of a public enterprise shall be kept at its head office or such other place in Nigeria as the Commission may direct and shall at all times be open to inspection by such officers of the Commission as may be authorised from time to time.
(2) Subject to any direction relating to the disposal of records which may be given by the Commission, accounting records which a public enterprise is required to keep by section 19 of this Act shall be preserved by it for a period of not less than 30 years from the date on which they were made.
