Section 24: Interpretation

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires-
"Board" means the governing Board established for the Commission under section 2(1) of this Act;
"Chairman" means the Chairman of the Board;
"Commission" means the Oil Mineral Producing Areas Development Commission established by section 1 of this Act;
"member" means a member of the Board and includes the Chairman;
"oil mineral producing areas" means the oil mineral producing areas in the States specified in section 2(1)(b) of this Act.
