Section 6: Penalties for offences under sections 1, 3 and 5.

A person guilty of an offence under section 1, 3 or 5 of this Act shall, on conviction by a High Court or a superior court or on summary conviction by any court of inferior jurisdiction, be liable to a fine:
Provided that an offence shall not by virtue of this section be punishable on summary conviction by a court having jurisdiction inferior to that of a High Court by a fine exceeding N2,000.
