Section 5: Modification of certain provisions of the Law.

(1) Until other provisions are made in that behalf by the Federal Govemment-
(a) all references in the Law to the Visitor shall be construed as references to the
President; and
(b) the power to appoint the Vice-Chancellor of the University shall vest in the
President.

Section 6 (1) of the Law is hereby repealed and all the provisions of the Law shall
be construed subject to this Act
