Section 9: Structure of the Commission.

(1) There shall be established in the headquarters of the Commission the following departments-
(a) Administration and Human Resources;
(b) Planning, Research, Statistics and Management Information System;
(c) Community and Rural Development;
(d) Environmental Protection and Control, Utilities Infrastructural Development;
(e) Finance and Supply; and
(f) Legal Services.
(2) There shall be the following units under the relevant departments-
(a) Solid Minerals and Agriculture;
(b) Education, Health and Social Services;
(c) Commercial and Industrial Development; and
(d) Projects Monitoring and Supervision.
(3) The Board may increase the number of departments and units as it may deem necessary and expedient to facilitate the realisation of the objectives of the Commission.
