Section 76: Tenure of office

Subject to the provisions of section 75 of this Act, the Chairman and members of the Council shall each hold office(a) for a term of four years and may be re-appointed for a further term of four years and no more ; and
(b) on such terms and conditions as may be specified in their letters of appointment.
