Section 20: Application of certain enactments

For the purposes of this Act, the Corporation shall be subject to all rights, powers, obligations, and duties to which a licensee or lessee by virtue of the Petroleum Act and a licensee and the holder of a permit by virtue of the Oil Pipelines Act are subject, so however that in the application thereof-(a) paragraph 12 of the First Schedule to the Petroleum Act (which provides for the relinquishment of one-half of the leased area after ten years of an oil mining lease); and
(b) paragraph 3 and 6 of the said Schedule (which relate to the duration of an oil exploration licence and oil prospecting licence, respectively); and
(c) such other provisions of those enactments as the Minister may, from time to time, specify by public notice,
shall be excluded.
