Section 24: Compensation for damages, etc.

(1) In the exercise of the power conferred upon it by section 22 of this Act, the Agency, its offices, employees, workmen or agents shall do as little damage as may be necessary and the Agency shall pay compensation for any damage done to any building, crops and economic trees.
(2) In the case of dispute as to the amount of compensation payable, the same shall be
determined by a magistrate or district judge exercising jurisdiction in the place where
the land is situated or the High Court within whose area of jurisdiction the land is situated, as the case may require, and such decision shall be final and binding.
