Section 10: Funds of the Council

There shall be established and maintained for the Council a fund into which shall be paid and credited-(a) 10 per cent of port dues paid by shipping companies and terminal operators to be deducted at source on behalf of the Council;
(b) all subventions and budgetary allocations from the Federal Government;and
(c) all sum accruing to the Council by way of gifts, endowments, bequest, grants or other contributions by persons and organisations ;
