Section 1: Establishment of the Council.

(1) There is established a body to be known as the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (in this Act referred to as "the Council").
(2) The Council
(a) shall be a body corporate;
(b) shall have perpetual succession and a common seal; and
(c) may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
