Section 31: Interpretation.

In this Act-
"Board" means the Nigerian Accounting Standards Board established under section 1 of this Act;
"Executive Secretary" means the person appointed as the Chief Executive of the Board under section 9 of this Act;
"functions" include powers and duties;
"Minister" means the Minister charged with responsibility for matters relating to Commerce; and
"President" means the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
