Section 43: Recommendation to Central Bank of Nigeria on violations.

Without prejudice to the provisions of this Act, where the examination by the Corporation of any insured institution discloses, or the Corporation otherwise becomes aware, that an insured institution or its directors or staff have violated or are violating any provisions of any law or regulation to which the insured institution is subject, or have engaged, are engaging or are about to engage in unsafe and unsound practices in conducting the business of the institution, the Corporation shall promptly notify the Central Bank of Nigeria of such violation and may make appropriate recommendations.
