Section 146: Calculation of drawbacks

1 Drawbacks shall be calculated by deducting from the amount of duties, excise Customs duties and other Customs duties paid on the goods, an amount equivalent to the proportionate cost to the Service for administering the drawback programme.

2 The amount of drawback shall be reduced by the value of any merchantable scrap or waste resulting from the manufacturing process.
