Section 135: Buildings and activities in a free zone

1 Subject to the provision of any law establishing special economic zone generally or relating to any specific free zone, any industrial, commercial or service activity shall be permitted in a special economic zone and the carrying on of such activities, shall be subject to advance notification to the Service.

2 The Service may impose prohibitions or restrictions on the activities referred to in subsection (1), having regard to the nature of the goods, the requirements of customs supervision, security or safety.
