Section 1: Establishment of the National Theatre and the National Troupe of Nigeria Board.

(1) There is hereby established a body to be known as the National Theatre and National Troupe of Nigeria Board (in this Act referred to as "the Board") which shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
(2) There shall be established under the general supervision of the Board
(a) a National Theatre; and
(b) a troupe to be known as the National Troupe of Nigeria (in this Act referred to as "the Troupe").
