Section 30: Savings and transitional provisions

(1) The powers, duties, and functions of the National Secondary Education Commission established under the National Secondary Education Commission Act CAP N73, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 ("the repealed Act") are transferred to the Commission under this Act.
(2) Anything made, done or having effect under the repealed Act and having any resulting or continuing effect shall be treated as from the commencement of this Act, as if it were made or done by the Commission established under this Act.
(3) A person who before the commencement of this Act, was deployed, appointed or employed by the Commission established under the repealed Act shall continue in office and be deemed to have been deployed, appointed or employed by the Commission established under this Act.
(4) All assets, rights, liabilities and obligations of the Commission under the repealed Act shall, by virtue of this Act, be deemed to be that of the Commission established under this Act.
