Section 4: Appointment of the Executive Secretary

(1) The Executive Secretary shall be appointed by the President.
(2) The Executive Secretary shall be the chief executive of the Commission and shall be responsible for the execution of the policy, and the day-to-day running of the affairs of the Commission.
(3) The Executive Secretary shall hold office in the first instance for a period of five years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further period of five years or as the President may determine.
